UN NGO WORKING GROUP TO END HOMELESSNESS

The Working Group to End Homelessness (WGEH) was officially established in November 2017 as a collaboration between the Vincentian Family and several UN NGOs. Since its founding, WGEH has grown and evolved from this small membership of only 6 organizations to comprise a total of 30 member organizations.
The Working Group to End Homelessness (WGEH) mission is to advocate at the United Nations for persons who are vulnerable, pursuing the human right to adequate housing for all and to end homelessness. In this advocacy work, the working group partners with a variety of member states, UN agencies, NGOs, committees, and organizations.
As the working group continues its advocacy work, it has identified several areas of primary focus:
1) to end street homelessness and to address systems and structural inequalities that affect street sleepers, as well as the hidden homeless,
2) to collect and share disaggregated data on homelessness,
3) to advocate for a resolution on homelessness through the United Nations Third Committee of the General Assembly …
The whole working group meets on the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00-12:00 noon. Time of New York, United States (GMT-4)
If you prefer to just work on a subcommittee that would be welcomed.
