The Dominican Sisters give thanks for the life of pope Francis
The Dominican Sisters throughout the world join all people of good will in giving thanks for the life and example of our dear brother and pope, Francis.
A true man of the people and of the Gospel, he has taught us and shown us with his own life that there is really only one thing necessary – to live as Jesus lived – excluding no one; welcoming all; being a sign and source of God’s compassionate presence; and joining together to care for our one, common home. There are truly the things that make for peace.
May we honor his memory by recommitting ourselves to this path of Gospel simplicity.
