DSIC Priorities for 2025 – 2028 

1. Finances 

• Take more measures towards financial stability of the DSIC in the future.

2. UN Position / International Justice Promoter 

• Separate the positions of the UN Representative and the International JPIC Promoter

3. Formation 

• Continue the Leadership Development Program – for younger Sisters as  well as others. 

• Continue the Caleruega experience and include other important places of our Dominican history 

• Include language study

4. Communications / Database 

• Database which includes Sisters’ involvement in study and ministry

• Perhaps opportunities for shared ministries will emerge from this once  Sisters have more complete information. 

• To have a designated person for communication with the DSIC in each Congregation.

5. Succession Planning 

• Intentionally consider Sisters who will be able to assume areas of  responsibility in DSIC for the future. 

OTHER: 

• The needs of Small Congregations will continue to be an ongoing Priority of DSIC. 

• There seems to be a willingness to acknowledge that DSIC is for all of our  Sisters – even as we respect the role of Prioresses as the official members. 

• An online meeting before the next Assembly in Rome in 2028.
