Sr. Ann Pratt: new UN Representative for DSIC

A lifelong advocate for justice, Sr. Ann Pratt has dedicated her ministry to uplifting families, advancing social justice, and caring for our common home.

Currently serving as Co-Lead of the California Chapter of the Laudato Si’ Movement, she empowers communities to embrace an integral vision that unites environmental, social, and spiritual justice.

With over 30 years of leadership in child welfare, family services, and faith-based initiatives, her journey includes:

  • Founding HOPES Center of Racine, providing mental health and holistic services to the unhoused
  • Leading the Justice Team of the Dominican Sisters of Racine, where she also launched the Dominican Center for Justice Resources
  • Serving as a Family Engagement Liaison with Casey Family Programs, supporting families toward permanency and well-being

Her credentials include an M.A. in Theology (Catholic Theological Union, Chicago) and an MSW in Child & Family Services (University of Illinois), both earned with highest honors.
