New Continental Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean
With profound joy, we announce that Sr. Margarita Mangual Colón, OP, elected to lead the CODALC (Conference of Dominican Sisters of Latin America and the Caribbean) team, also assumes the mission as our new Continental Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Sr. Margarita—a member of the Dominican Sisters of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima—takes on this challenge with a heart dedicated to service and Dominican tradition:
“What inspires and encourages me in this new challenge is: ‘That I recognize myself as chosen and anointed by God to be, alongside the CODALC Sisters’ Team, a continuer of a great legacy and a transmitter of the Dominican tradition to the present and future generations of Latin America and the Caribbean.’
Therefore, with fear and trembling, I have placed all my trust and hope in God to assume the entrusted mission with passion, joy, dedication, and generous service. I ask God for wisdom and the other gifts of the Spirit. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Dominic, pray for us!”
